Good afternoon, I am struggling on my quantitative research proposal, it is dealing with a PICO of pediatric population in a hospital setting and the use of a procedural treatment room versus the patient's bedside during hospitalization during and the affect it has on the fear/anxiety level.
I am trying to place my finger on the research design plan:I looked towards descriptive observational, however, it is some intervention by moving a patient to a treatment room for the procedure. Therefore, what design method can i try to select: I tried picking cross-sectional or randomized clinical trial.
I am completely stuck: thanks for any guidance.
Writing a research proposal may be a requirement of your faculty, but it can be a valuable personal process too. It will help you to structure your thoughts and your proposed project. It will allow you to focus on the research question and its purpose, what is involved in the project, as well as providing you with a clear plan of how each stage of the research will be undertaken, and the anticipated outcomes. This initial piece of writing will also help you to identify problems that you may encounter along the way, and direct you to think about how you will manage those kinds of issues.
