Sir/Madame,
I am a resident of Delhi and i am seriously concerned about the air we are breathing. Recently the honorable Supreme Court made a remark comparing Delhi to a gas air quality in the city is one of the worst in the world. Other cities in India are similarly struggling. The hazardous impact on the health of citizens should ring alarm bell for the government. With ,PM10,Nitrogen dioxide,Sulphur dioxide etc. present in high quantity, chances of respiratory illness, acid rain, cancer etc substantially increases.
Planting more trees, regulating polluting industries, controlling diesel cars etc are some of the measures that needs to be implemented solutions like the ODD EVEN scheme
if applied properly can be very useful.
Regards,
Aman
